Born in Mendrisio in 1985, Simone Viola studied Industrial Design in Milan, where he began collaborating with leading architecture and design studios in Italy and abroad. These early experiences shaped a solid, cross-disciplinary design vision and led him to establish his own studio in Switzerland in 2011, specializing in industrial design with a strong focus on the furniture sector.

His work stands out for its ability to blend the precision of industrial production with the authenticity of artisanal craftsmanship. Every project starts with a careful analysis of materials, processes, and user needs, resulting in furniture that is elegant, functional, and built to last.

Simone Viola’s signature lies in a constant pursuit of balance between form and function. Clean lines, thoughtful solutions, and a refined aesthetic define his collections, designed to integrate naturally into contemporary living spaces.

For him, design is a relational language. Each object is conceived not just as a tool, but as a way to create real connections between people and the spaces they inhabit. His process aims to improve everyday life with products that are not only beautifully made, but emotionally engaging.

From concept development to prototyping and final production, Simone Viola is personally involved in every phase. This hands-on approach ensures consistency, quality, and a strong, coherent design identity, turning each piece into a true expression of innovation, sensibility, and industrial expertise.

Today, Studio Simone Viola is recognized on the international stage for its ability to merge creativity, strategic thinking, and production know-how, delivering furniture collections that reflect a unique balance of aesthetics, technical precision, and a deep understanding of contemporary living.
